1”-20 UNF Extruder Rupture Disks
MPI’s 1”-20 UNF thread extruder rupture disks are built to the plastic industry’s most commonly used specifications, and are compatible with Dynisco, Gefran, Oseco and Fike units. These disks are often used on larger North American-manufactured extruders that require a larger rupture disk size to allow larger plastic discharge during safety relief.
As it maintains excellent stability over a wide temperature range, Inconel is our standard rupture disk material. However, other materials are available for special applications. Contact us to discuss your material requirements.
